Legal advice

The association’s lawyers will give you advice, for example, on issues concerning compiling a contract of employment, pay, the conditions of the employment relationship and the practice of your profession.

Insurance benefits

The membership fee includes liability and legal expenses insurance and also disability insurance in case of a work-related disease.

Members working at a private practice will receive patient insurance at a considerably lower price through the association. According to the Patient Injuries Act, all health care providers shall have patient insurance that provides compensation for injuries covered by this Act. Members will also receive many other insurance benefits from Pohjola Vakuutus, for example on all their insurance policies for the home and family.

Publications

You can utilise the wide-ranging information produced by the association, which is offered in the Finnish Dental Journal, newsletters and announcements. We also provide guidebooks and research data on dentists and the labour market.

Online services

Our online services offer diverse information about the association’s activities, lobbying and member services. You will find more detailed information about our members’ services and benefits, as well as guidelines on practising dentistry, on our members-only website.

Vierumäki holiday apartment

We offer our members the use of a good quality holiday apartment in Vierumäki.

Training and events

The association organises events and professional training, such as courses in private dentistry.
