Strategic objectives of the Dental AssociationTwo-channel service systemThe entire population has access to high-quality oral health care services. The availability of basic and specialised health care services is sufficient and equal throughout the country. Oral health care services are provided both by the public and the private sector. This system supports the maintenance of public oral health as well as the individual responsibility for personal oral health. The individual contribution to the treatment costs is restricted to a level which does not prevent the use of necessary services. Promotion of health and regular treatmentOral health care is based on the promotion of health and regularity, which are best achieved through treatment relationships that are established according to individual treatment needs. Every patient has the freedom to choose their dentist. Public decision-making supports active and independent promotion of public oral health care and encourages making choices with health benefits. |
